Dear Pasadena Cove Friends and Neighbors:

First, let me thank you on behalf of the entire Grassroots73 network for your interest in the Newsletter, the e-mails, the DYKs and the web site.  We hope this information system helps to fill the void created by the absence of information within our community (Pasadena Cove).

We began this pilgrimage because there is very little community news on the association web page.  We are trying to fill that void.

There have been several comments and suggestions for improving the web page.  Some found it difficult to find items of interest by going page by page until they found the information they wanted.  So, we attempted to fix that problem by restructuring the page format.

The address is still Grassroots73.com and the content is the same but now the news is reorganized into content oriented pages so the reader can click on their favorite and be directed to the content they prefer.

You’ll find links to the Pasadena Pet Parade, Goings on at the Cove, Wildlife @ the Cove, Special Events, Crafts Corner. Editor ‘s Opinion, Direct from City Hall and Government Contacts.  Others can be added based on your interest.

We’re considering a "visiting editor's" page so that differing views (within the bounds of good taste) can be added to agree or disagree with the Editor’s opinions or express other opinions.  How about a “Grand Mom’s Recipe “ or "Hobbies" Page.

There it is.  We’d love to hear your suggestions for further improvements, complaints or newsworthy items.  We are not going away!

Hayden

Keep the kids tuned in to what's happening here @ the Cove.

Our kids (many are reaching retirement age) are very interested in what's going on here at the Cove and the City of South Pasadena.  Access to this web page offers the opportunity for the kids, grand kids and yes, great grand kids to stay abreast to what we're up to here in our Florida Paradise.  Just send them the web address (Grassroots73.com).  We'd love to have pictures of your kids with short stories of the most significant events in their lives. (for example graduations, weddings, blessed events, military service).   We will happily add these so you can share them with friends and family.

Here is our first entry .  Janet and Hayden's Great Grand Son.  Eight month old Hank. (93rd percentile.)  His Canadian grandfather says in about twenty years he'll be either a power forward or goal  tender the Canadian National Hockey Team.
